Caffeine, Cows, and my Companion for Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! This Thanksgiving break, I am spending time with family and friends, baking, and forcing myself to take a deep breath and relax!

One of my friends who I met at Drexel (Go Dragons!) is staying with us for Thanksgiving. I spent Thanksgiving Eve drinking an oat milk cappuccino with her and my sister.  Then, we visited the farm I work at where we fed the calves, said hi to the goats, and bought my favorite cheeses for a cheese board for dinner tonight!

I am so excited to share our Thanksgiving traditions with Tori (my friend from Romania) today – first up is watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade!

These cappuccinos were so amazing on the cold Thanksgiving Eve morning.

Look at his cute face!

The two cheeses we bought to complete our cheese board were the Abruzze Jawn (a very savory cheese similar in flavor to a salami, and specked with pepper flakes and spices) and the Harvest Tome (this is a more crumbly cheese with a line of vegetable ash through the middle).  Our cheese board tomorrow is also going to have a cherry apricot covered goat cheese.  It is a small group of family and friends eating with us today, so I decided to keep the cheese board to only three cheese – cheese boards always need to have an odd number of cheeses.
