My dad and I always work together to prepare the Thanksgiving dinner! I am in charge of appetizers, some sides, and dessert. This year, we hosted a small group of friends and family. I decided to make a chocolate bourbon pecan pie, pumpkin pie, date caramel and a huge apple crisp.

Pumpkin bread and a big pot of oatmeal for breakfast. With the this we also ate fresh apples and pears and homemade date caramel.

Our cheese board – consisting of Lawrenceville Jack and Abruzze Jawn from Cherry Grove Farm, as well a cherry/apricot covered goat cheese log.

Spending time with family and eating wonderful food is my favorite thing to do! Happy Thanksgiving! Now it is time to put up the Christmas tree…….
