Happy Sunday! I hope everyone had a great week, and you are enjoying your weekend.
I am going to do a blog post with a little bit more about me soon, so you all can get to know me a little better. I am two weeks into classes at Drexel University right now, so the work is piling up. I am trying to manage one blog post per week!
Today I want to talk about a brand I am a ambassador for- Java Me Up Bars.
It all started in early June when I had the opportunity to attend the Fancy Food Show in New York City. The amount of companies and small businesses from across the world was overwhelming.
While tasting the different products that the companies presented to the people attending, I came across a delicious coffee flavored bar. It stood out to me so I started talking to the people behind the stand who gave me the sample of their two flavors – Caramel Macchiato and Cafe Mocha.
I learned that this company was called Java Me Up. They sourced organic, shade grown, locally roasted coffee for their bars. Their roasters are a Berkshire, MA (also where the bars are made) based business called Six Depot Roastery. They dip each bar in chocolate, infuse about half a cup worth of antioxidant rich coffee, and mix in oats, seeds, and sometimes nuts. Their concept is to make an antioxidant coffee that never spills!
I loved that they were a company just starting up, that they sourced locally, and thet they care about each ingredient they put into their bars.
They saw my enthusiasm for their product and told me that I could become a college ambassador for the company!
So, here we are now, a few months later, and I am officially an ambassador for Java Me Up bars.
Check out this brand! There are a ton of new, innovative food brands becoming popular all around the country. I love being able to support companies with the sustainability, well-sourced, and locally made on their minds.
